Yes, that's not a problem. You can adjust the number of active LEDs on the LED strip directly from the app. In addition, the LED strip can be cut to fit the length of your keyboard.
In the app, you can import your own .MIDI files to use with the LED strip. We also offer an online library of .MIDI files within the app, which have been approved by our team and are regularly updated.

My partner, to whom I gave the piano + LED piano bundle, sent you a video last Thursday because the system isn’t working. To date, we haven’t heard back from you. She managed to get it working on Saturday, but since then the same problem has returned, just as shown in the video we sent. Please find a solution to this problem and at least respond to us—we can’t even reach you by phone, which is frustrating for us. If we do not hear from you very soon, we will request a refund and return the defective equipment to you.
I'm really happy with my purchase—and my son, who's a musician, agrees!! I'm having a blast. The latest update is great 👍. I think I'll get the add-on module sometime soon, too. But one thing at a time!
I bought a second light strip for my second portable piano (it's not the one in the video), which works perfectly with the device I already own and the subscription I've already signed up for. I’ve been taking piano lessons with a teacher for a year now, and Piano Led+ is a great, fun, and easy-to-use supplement that lets me quickly try out songs without any hassle—and if I really like them, I’ll study them later so I can learn them by heart. The interface continues to improve in the right direction. The blue bars are a little too dark for my taste—it’s hard to see them on my tablet in natural light. Thanks, keep up the good work. SB
I saw it featured on TV; I hesitated at first, but then took the plunge. Setup was easy, but right now I’m still having connection issues—I have to restart the app every time I use it, and it then goes through the entire setup process again before finally connecting. It’s a fun system—I even asked my wife to try it even though she’d never touched a keyboard before. The result: she couldn’t figure out how to play the piano!! She loves it! As for me, I’m a little disoriented because I’m used to learning the keyboard by reading sheet music, but I like the concept. I’m giving myself some time to get used to it to see if there’s real progress, and I’ll definitely switch to a subscription to continue with the sheet music that seems to be included. For now, my experience has been positive. kudos on the idea and the quality of the product. As for the connection issue with the iPhone, I’m going to try using an Android tablet to see if that makes connecting easier.

Great for getting started without any hassle! At 45, I’d never played the piano before, but I’d always wanted to try. With Piano Led, I was able to get started easily—without having to learn music theory—and, best of all, play songs quickly. In just a few days, everything starts to flow more smoothly. The catalog is varied—there’s something for everyone (though you have to subscribe, otherwise the catalog is limited)—and the progression is motivating. You have fun right from the very first sessions, which is really great. I don’t want to become a pianist, and that’s exactly what Piano Led offers: learning while having fun, just playing! One small downside: finger placement guidance would be a real plus, since it’s not always clear how to position your fingers.... The app frequently crashes upon launch and requires a restart.

Hello, No installation issues with this Yamaha YPT230. A USB-MIDI cable is required. However, there are only 38 free songs instead of 50, unless I'm mistaken. It's quick and easy to get started.

Ever since I was little, I’ve always wanted to play the piano, but I never had the chance. As an adult, I was still frustrated by this, and I couldn’t figure out how to play just by watching videos online. Then I discovered Piano LED, and it was THE solution for learning to play songs very easily and quickly. It’s such a joy to be able to produce such beautiful music so quickly. My 7-year-old daughter has also gotten into it, and we have a great time playing together! The app runs smoothly, is easy to use, and has lots of features—it’s the best!
The delivery time ended up being significantly longer than expected. Installation and setup were fairly easy on a 61-key Yamaha PSR SX700. Technically, if in the future you could create an LED strip that’s 2 to 3 mm narrower, that would be great for mounting and installation. And if you could increase the number of LEDs in the strip by using smaller, more numerous LEDs, that would be ideal for centering them more precisely over the axis of each key. "The current setup has its limitations—it’s not perfect." Having used it, I don’t have enough experience yet to offer an informed opinion on its effectiveness for learning. The system performs the required tasks well and with precision.

A super responsive team when it comes to tracking purchases when unexpected technical issues arise. The system is really fun and engaging, and I think it can be effective with some practice. I’m one of those people who love to learn and see improvement quickly. Music theory was clearly not for me, unlike Pianoled. I have a Donner DDP-80. Quick and easy setup. It’s a treat—a true passion! Different modes, the option to play with one or two hands, and the ability to choose the tempo. You can also modify chords and then play along by following the LEDs. The songs are updated periodically so you can try out new ones. Don’t hesitate—go for it! Thanks to the team for this divine creation!
As you may have noticed, the engine had a few hiccups when starting up—which is normal for a 70-year-old engine that’s been sitting idle for so long. But then—what a treat! Technology works wonders, especially when it comes from the passionate and talented hands of its creators. Day by day, we’re making slow progress—and that’s actually the goal. My daughter wants to learn to play the piano. Since the lessons were taking a while to start, I bought your materials. She’s really into it. Not to be outdone, my son has also taken it up and is sticking with it, too. It’s really exciting to be able to play familiar songs right away.
We gave this as a gift to our 16-year-old son, who spent his days tinkering away at the piano using YouTube videos, and he absolutely loved it. The app is very well designed, but it would be great if it indicated which finger to use—just like when you learn to play the piano from sheet music—and we’re looking forward to the version that includes sheet music viewing within the app 🥰
